MODEL SCOPE

The current engine models a single PAYE employment in England, Wales or Northern Ireland using stated 2026/27 assumptions. It simplifies payroll timing, tax codes, benefits, salary sacrifice, minimum wage, pensions, student loans, company equity, Capital Gains Tax, employer-NI transfers, annuities and drawdown. Scottish income tax, annual-allowance tapering, carry-forward, protection, multiple employments and many scheme-specific rules are not fully modelled.

RETIREMENT ILLUSTRATIONS

Investment growth, inflation, salary growth, drawdown and annuity rates are assumptions, not forecasts or quotations. Returns are not smooth in real life, fees may differ and income can fall as well as rise. State and defined-benefit pension inputs are user-provided illustrations.

EQUITY ILLUSTRATIONS

Option and share calculations assume simplified cashless sales. Actual tax depends on award type, residence, vesting and exercise dates, exchange rates, withholding, elections, employer-NI agreements and the relevant plan. Use the actual award documents.
